I missed Catford Cinema Club’s showing of Flash Gordon at The Broadway on Saturday. Gutted! It looked like a fun night. Catford will be joining the ranks of unlikely cinema locations this month with the Catford Broadway Pop Up Cinema Night. According to East London Lines, Max Calò, a member of local film group Hither Green Hall said he saw the closing of Ladywell Leisure Centre as an opportunity to build a new cinema in Lewisham. Lewisham’s old cinemas
As a kid I used to love going to the cinema or “the pictures” as we used to call it back then.
