Love Lewisham? Prove it by taking part in this Instagram photo competition

22/06/2017 By Editor

Calling all photographers, Instagrammers and casual snappers, Housing organisation Lewisham Homes are inviting you to share what you love about Lewisham by entering their Instagram competition.

Your photos can be of anything – friends or food, parks, pubs, art or activities or the much loved Catford Cat, the only rule is that they must be inspired by life in Lewisham!

You can even draw, paint or handcraft your expression of why you love Lewisham – to submit it, just take a photo of the finished result and share your entry on Instagram.

There’s also no limit on the number of photos you can submit.

A post shared by Lewisham Homes (@lewishamhomes) on Jun 22, 2017 at 2:26am PDT

To enter:

Share your entry on Instagram before midnight on Sunday 16 July.

Use the hashtag #Lewishgram and include a short description of what inspired your photo and why you #LoveLewisham (using this hashtag!)

To be eligible, you must follow @LewishamHomes and tag them in the photo.

Once your entry has been submitted, they will send you a direct message on Instagram to confirm your full name, age, address and contact details.

You do not need to be a Lewisham Homes resident to enter but you should live in the borough.

Voting

The winners will be decided in two ways; the People’s Choice and the Judge’s Choice.

The People’s Choice award will be determined by the photo entry that receives the most likes on Instagram by 4pm on Friday 21 July – so once you’ve uploaded your image, feel free to encourage as many of your followers, friends and family as you can to like it!

The Judge’s Choice will be chosen by an independent team of Lewisham Homes and Albany representatives.

Both the People’s Choice and the Judge’s Choice award will have an under 18s and over 18s category.

Would Sutcliffe Park or Cator park be ok to be submitted?

    • Editor says

I doubt it. One is in Greenwich and the other in Bromley borough. I bet you can find something nice to take a picture of in Lewisham. Beckenham Place park comes under Lewisham. 😉
