If you love musicals and parodies, Forbidden Broadway might be the kind of evening’s entertainment you are looking for. It is billed as a fast-paced revue show that parodies the excesses of musical theatre.
Because…Broadway is a very special place,
filled with very special people,
people who can sing and dance, often at the same time!
They are a different people, a multi-talented people,
a people…who need people…and who are, in many ways, the
luckiest people in…the world. I’m sorry sire, but we don’t stand a chance.
From the Spamalot song “You Won’t succeed on Broadway”
Forbidden Broadway promises a hilariously fresh take on a host of famous show tunes as well as the characters and plots of today’s most popular Broadway and West End musicals, including smash hits like The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked!, Les Misérables, The Lion King, Spamalot and Annie.
The performance will be in a cabaret setting which sounds like fun. Two types of seating will be available.
