Trikhon Theatre presents Rice Paper Tales at the Deptford Lounge. The production brings beautiful Vietnamese folk tales to life.
Rice Paper Tales is inspired by Tiet Van Nguyen, a Vietnamese story teller of some of the most beautiful, funny and captivating Vietnamese folk tales. Trikhon is looking to provide a uniquely Vietnamese alternative to all-time favourite British Fairy Tales with some classic Vietnamese folk tales. Stories are 25 minutes long with free gifts for everyone to take home and remember their story by. A special addition arts and craft workshop will be held on specific showings (see below to find out).
Lewisham based Trikhon Theatre is bringing stories to life in a way that is much more than words. They believe that a story carries much more power when all our senses are awoken. Through their work, they aim to arouse, provoke, excite, move, inspire, tickle and immerse. They are a big fan of theatre that surrounds you from all sides.
This is a chance for you and your little one to experience uniquely alternative fairy tales.
